Facilities Condition Assessor

Immediate opening for Experienced Building Condition Assessor. As a Facility/Property Condition Assessor, you will travel to properties locally and/or nationwide to conduct visual condition assessments of multi-unit residential buildings, generally following the ASTM E2018 Property Condition Assessment standard. You will inspect building exteriors, mechanical (MEP) spaces, major equipment, and a representative sample of interior units and common areas, recording findings on a mobile survey platform. This engagement is Fulltime, for a period of 6-7 months.

Qualifications:

• Condition assessment experience, ideally including ASTM E .
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or related field); non-degreed assessors must have 10+ years of relevant assessment experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering/architectural standards and commercial construction codes as applied to existing facilities; strong written and oral communication skills.

COMPENSATION & BONUSES

• Base Pay: Pro Spex would offers you an annual salary based on experience from of $60k to $110k , paid on a salaried basis. This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) as a learned professional.
• Signing Bonus: $1,000, payable after successful completion of 30 days of satisfactory performance.
• Completion Bonus: $1,500, payable upon successful completion of the project/engagement period.
• Pay Schedule: Compensation is issued biweekly.
• Travel & Expenses: The Company will provide hotel, airfare, and rental car arrangements directly per Company travel policy. Reimbursable expenses include gas, and your first checked bag (if applicable). The Company will make reasonable efforts to schedule assignments based on your travel restrictions subject to project demands, whenever possible.
• Per Diem: Rates are payable for qualified travel expenses.
• Equipment: Tablet and survey software will be provided by the Company.
• Orientation: Paid orientation on Company procedures and the survey platform will be provided prior to fieldwork.
