Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial mechanical projects throughout Western Massachusetts. This position is ideal for a motivated construction professional with experience managing HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

ResponsibilitiesManage mechanical construction projects from planning through completionOversee HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, and process-piping scopesDevelop project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reportsCoordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and field teamsReview drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change ordersManage equipment and material procurement to maintain project schedulesMonitor labor productivity, project costs, and overall profitabilityLead project meetings and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholdersPartner with field leadership to resolve scheduling, design, and constructability issuesEnsure work complies with project requirements, safety standards, and quality expectationsManage commissioning, punch-list completion, turnover, and closeout documentation
QualificationsAt least five years of mechanical construction or project management experience preferredStrong knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping systemsExperience managing projects for a mechanical contractorAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsKnowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, change-order management, and cost controlStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software preferredBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred but not requiredMechanical field or trade experience xzbcwsv is highly valued
