Position Title: Lead – Process Automation & Key Project Initiatives

Location: Chennai Head Office

Reporting To: National Credit Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified professional to lead and support credit operations with a strong focus on mortgage underwriting, business sourcing, and credit process automation. The role requires deep domain expertise in BFSI, along with proven experience in implementing process improvements and digital automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• MBA or CA qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the BFSI industry.

Experience Required

• Hands-on experience in Mortgage Underwriting / Business Sourcing.
• Exposure to credit process automation projects, including:
• Workflow Automation.
• Loan Origination System (LOS) implementation or enhancement.
• Credit Underwriting Models.
• Strong understanding of credit appraisal, process controls, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support credit-related processes and initiatives.
• Work on mortgage underwriting and business sourcing activities as required.
• Drive credit process automation and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve turnaround time and process quality.
• Support the National Credit Manager in strategic and operational credit initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies, process standards, and governance requirements.
