Supply Planning & Inventory Management Lead

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Supply Planning & Inventory Management Lead for our client, a leading organisation based in Newry. This is a key leadership role responsible for supply planning, S&OP, inventory management and operational procurement across a complex manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end supply planning, inventory strategy and the monthly S&OP process.Translate demand forecasts into capacity-aligned supply and production plans.Oversee manufacturing schedules, operational procurement and material availability.Drive inventory optimisation, balancing service levels, working capital and supply risk.Lead planning governance, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.Lead and develop a multi-functional team of approximately 23 employees.Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity of supply.RequirementsProven experience in supply and demand planning within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of S&OP, IBP and RCCP.Experience in inventory management, production planning and operational procurement.Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with ERP/MRP and supply planning systems.APICS/ASCM, CIPS or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
