Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive. The salary for this job is $110K - $140K.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIESProvide financial support and guidance to production and department leaders to drive business decisionsCalculate and maintain cost standards for production and inventoryAnalyze production and forecast variances, communicate results, and recommend actions to managementLead plant budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting in partnership with Finance and Accounting teamsSupport Plant Management with labor planning and capital project financial justificationsAlign plant productivity with financial targets and implement cost and working capital optimization programsMaintain internal controls and accounting processes to ensure US GAAP compliance and reporting integrity
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of accounting or finance experience in manufacturing or public accounting with a manufacturing client baseStrong knowledge of standard costing, budgeting, and forecastingProficiency in financial statement analysis and projectionsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint); Oracle experience a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills
