Credit Control Manager

b Overview /b p In this role you will lead credit control activities to safeguard cash flow and reduce aged debt. You will work closely with the finance team and clients to drive timely payments and resolve disputes. You will oversee a credit controller, monitor AR aging, and report to senior management on risk and cash flow. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a City-based finance function with a hybrid work pattern. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home /li li Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per annum /li li City of London location /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Supervise a credit controller and monitor their performance /li li Track accounts receivable aging, and generate reports on aging, collections progress, and cash flow /li li Manage aged debt and implement strategies to accelerate payment /li li Lead credit control and debt collection, liaise with customers on payments, invoicing, and disputes /li li Advise on overdue account handling and escalations /li li Provide regular updates to senior management on risks and opportunities /li li Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, collections activity and payment arrangements /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Supervisory experience in credit control or debt collection /li li Experience managing accounts receivable and debt recovery /li li Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders /li li Ability to generate and interpret aging reports and cash flow insights /li /ul ul li communication /li li stakeholder management /li li problem-solving /li li attention to detail /li li proactivity /li /ul
