CAE Durability Analyst - Powertrain Gearbox

Modelling and analyzing transmission systems through 3D FEM Modeling using Altair HyperWorks. Analyzing powertrain components for loads, stresses, and Lifetime. Calculating housing and other transmission components for hybrid and electric powertrain designs using simulation tools. Preprocessing of geometry in Altair HyperMesh/SimLab. Defining boundary conditions, perform Postprocessing and check for plausibility and Interpretation of simulation results. Creating reports according to Magna Powertrain specifications and templates, including recommendations and proposals for design optimization. Writing technical documents and presenting the results in an efficient manner. Required Tool Knowledge: Hypermesh, Simlab, Hyperview, Optistruct, Abaqus, Abaqus CAE/Viewer(optional) FEMFAT for break &
