PLUMBING SUPPLY PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Meridian Global Staffing Solutions is immediately hiring experienced Plumbers or Plumbers Apprentice for full-time opportunities in Staten Island, NY. Sign on bonus eligibility after 90 days (must meet all requirements discussed during onboarding)!

This is not a general warehouse position.

We are specifically looking for candidates who have previous experience working with plumbing supplies and products and can confidently identify and work with materials commonly found in a plumbing supply or distribution environment.

If you have experience working with pipe, fittings, valves, fixtures, plumbing parts, and related supplies , and is willing to be trained in logistics/warehouse, we want to speak with you.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate has hands-on strong plumbing product knowledge .

You should be comfortable identifying plumbing products when picking and verifying orders and understand the importance of selecting the correct product, size, type, and quantity.

Previous experience with a plumbing supply company, plumbing distributor, plumbing warehouse, or similar environment is highly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick plumbing supply orders accurately and efficiently
• Identify and select the correct plumbing products and materials
• Verify product type, size, quantity, and other order specifications
• Quality check orders before staging and loading
• Load and stage customer orders
• Receive, organize, and stock incoming plumbing supplies
• Assist with inventory and product organization
• Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Plumbing experience or education (certification program)
• Plumbing supply/product knowledge is required
• Experience working with plumbing products such as pipe, fittings, valves, fixtures, plumbing parts, and related materials
• Ability to identify and differentiate plumbing products when picking orders
• Experience in a plumbing supply warehouse or plumbing distribution environment is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
• Ability to safely operate applicable warehouse equipment
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Willingness to work overtime based on operational needs
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

AM SHIFT

• Monday–Friday
• 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Overtime as needed

PM SHIFT

• Sunday–Thursday
• 4:00 PM until completion
• Typical completion time is between 12:00 AM–2:00 AM
• Overtime as needed
