SAP FICO Consultant – Vertex Tax Integration | Full-Time | India

Job Description: IntVerse Inc. is hiring an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with hands-on Vertex tax engine experience to join our India delivery team. You'll be deployed on a global Wave 2 rollout running through go-live and hypercare into July 2027, with continued opportunities across our SAP portfolio thereafter. Location: India Employment Type: Full-Time Start: Immediate What you'll do: Lead FICO design and configuration for Wave 2 scope across GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, and financial reporting Configure the SAP–Vertex tax integration on the finance side : tax procedures, tax codes, GL account determination for tax postings, and accrual handling Support use tax accrual, self-assessment, and tax reconciliation between SAP financial documents and Vertex tax registers Work with the tax team on tax reporting, returns data extraction, and audit trail requirements Design and validate month-end and period-close processes affected by tax determination and posting logic Drive functional unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression cycles for finance and tax scenarios Support data migration, cutover, opening balance loads, and post-go-live hypercare with defect triage and resolution Partner with OTC, MM/PTP, and ABAP teams on cross-module and interface dependencies What you'll bring: 7 years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience 5 years of relevant business domain experience 1–2 years working with Vertex integrated with SAP (tax posting, reconciliation, tax code and GL determination, external tax interface) Strong command of core FI (GL, AP, AR, banking) with working knowledge of CO Understanding of indirect tax concepts — sales and use tax, VAT/GST — and how they flow through SAP financial documents Experience across full-lifecycle implementations or rollouts — design through go-live and hypercare Proven ability to work with global stakeholders and distributed teams Nice to have: SAP S/4HANA Finance experience Exposure to tax compliance reporting and audit support Prior multi-country or multi-wave rollout experience How to apply: Send your resume to hello @intverse.com or with subject line "SAP FICO – Vertex Wave 2".
