Senior Analyst, Finance Operations & Analytics, Nassau County

Up to $120k Base + Bonus, 5 Days a week on site

We're working with a long-established specialty insurance group on Long Island that is expanding and reshaping its finance team. As part of that, the company is adding a Senior Analyst who will work closely with the CFO and help improve how finance actually runs day to day.

It's a lean team and a hands-on seat, and fit for someone who is curious, solution oriented, and proactive!

What you'll be doing:

• Map and improve core finance processes, cutting out manual work and tightening controls along the way
• Build dashboards and KPI reporting in SQL and Power BI for the executive team and Board
• Own key parts of the rolling forecast and the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle
• Tie operational data back to the ledger and chase down anything that doesn't reconcile
• Help shape finance system upgrades, from scoping what's needed through testing and rollout

What we're looking for:

• 7+ years in FP&A or finance analytics, with a track record of improving processes, not just reporting on them
• Strong SQL and Power BI skills (or similar tools), plus advanced Excel
• Experience with rolling forecasts and monthly and quarterly reporting
• Lean or Six Sigma experience is a big plus
• A clear communicator with the presence to present to senior leadership
• Insurance or financial services experience is helpful but not required

Compensation & logistics:

• Base salary: $110,000 to $120,000, plus a discretionary annual bonus
• Fully onsite, five days a week , 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Long Island (Nassau County)
• Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO, plus an onsite gym and cafeteria
• Reports to the CFO
