- Process and submit medical claims to insurance carriers accurately and in a timely manner
- Review and post insurance payments, EOBs, and patient payments to accounts
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and manage accounts receivable
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
- Respond to patient billing inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate patient billing records and update demographic information as needed
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure proper medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) on claims
- 1+ years of experience in medical billing, coding, or a related healthcare administrative role
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT coding, and EOB interpretation
- Experience with medical billing software and EHR systems
- Knowledge of insurance claim submission and denial management processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-friendly demeanor
- Pediatric billing experience is a plus but not required
