Qualifications5+ years of experience handling Illinois personal injury cases from inception through verdictSignificant courtroom and trial experience, including personally preparing and trying multiple personal injury cases to verdictStrong knowledge of Illinois state and federal procedures, protocols, and rules of evidenceDemonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and lead attorneys and paralegalsA positive, collaborative leadership style with a genuine focus on team developmentExcellent communication skills and the ability to establish expectations, provide constructive feedback, and keep teams alignedHighly organized, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Primary ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegalsEstablish and maintain standards for case handling, litigation strategy, and firm proceduresOversee day-to-day operations of the Personal Injury DivisionSupport staffing, team development, and employee relationsProvide guidance on case strategy, litigation, and trial preparationPartner directly with senior firm leadership on the continued growth and development of the divisionLead by example as both a skilled trial attorney and people leader
