Job OverviewA primary care FNP role with a defined workday. You’re on site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and after 4:30 it’s your call whether you finish charting and head out or stay longer. You’ll join a growing, NP-owned family practice in the Syracuse area, practice independently, and build gradually to about 20 patients a day.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide acute, chronic, and preventive primary care to patients ages 5 and upAssess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, and build individualized care plansPerform procedures as needed following established protocolsSee about 20 patients/day once fully rampedEducate patients and families, coordinate with the care team, and keep documentation accurate and timely
QualificationsBoard-certified FNPAt least 3,600 hours (about 3 years) of NP experienceActive New York NP license, in place before your start dateActive DEA registrationAble to practice independently without physician supervisionPrimary care experience with patients age 5 through older adultsMedent EMR (training provided) and gynecology experience preferred
Schedule & Compensation xzbcwsv $115,000 to $130,000/year, based on skills and experience | $10 per patient beyond 400/monthMonday to Friday | On site 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM | Shadowing and a lighter starting caseloadHealth, dental, and vision | 401(k) with match | Paid time off | $2,000 CME allowance
