Role Description

The Foreign Exchange Dealer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rawalpindi. The role involves handling day-to-day foreign currency transactions, executing buy and sell deals, and ensuring rates offered to customers are aligned with current market and inter-bank rates. The dealer will manage cash currencies, support foreign remittance and demand draft services, and maintain accurate transaction records in compliance with company and regulatory policies. Responsibilities include monitoring currency markets, providing clear information and guidance to clients, building and maintaining business relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and secure processing of funds. The role also requires adherence to risk management procedures, anti-money laundering guidelines, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of currency markets and foreign exchange trading, with the ability to interpret market movements and rate trends.
• Solid foundation in finance, including basic financial analysis, risk awareness, and understanding of banking and remittance processes.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and external partners in a clear, professional, and customer-focused manner.
• Ability to manage and grow business relationships, demonstrating trustworthiness, service orientation, and client responsiveness.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash, maintaining records, and complying with regulatory and internal policies.
• Proficiency with computer-based trading and transaction systems; familiarity with MS Office and basic data entry.
• Relevant experience in foreign exchange, banking, or financial services is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is advantageous.
