<p> About the Role </p> <p> We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Power Systems to lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of EHV Substation and Switchyard projects (220k V &amp; 400k V). The role is based at the Head Office and focuses on project planning, scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and project lifecycle management from initiation to closure. Candidates with strong project management expertise are preferred over construction execution/site-based profiles. </p> <p><br />Key Responsibilitie </p> <p> s Project Planning &amp; Schedulin g Develop comprehensive project execution plans for Power Systems projects . Prepare and manage project schedules (L1, L2, L3 &amp; L4) using project planning tools . Define project scope, milestones, resource allocation, and timelines . Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of deliverables </p><p>. Project Managemen t Manage complete project lifecycle from project initiation to successful closure . Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, quality, and project execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery . Track project performance against schedule, budget, and quality objectives . Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution of project issues </p><p>. Budgeting &amp; Cost Contro l Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs . Ensure optimal utilization of resources and control project expenditures . Support commercial reviews, project forecasting, and financial reporting </p><p>. Stakeholder Managemen t Act as the primary interface between internal teams, clients, consultants, and vendors . Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates to management . Manage client expectations and ensure contractual obligations are met </p><p>. Quality &amp; Complianc e Ensure projects comply with company standards, client specifications, and applicable industry codes . Monitor documentation, approvals, and project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle . Support quality audits and implement corrective actions where required </p><p>. Documentation &amp; Reportin g Maintain project documentation including schedules, progress reports, risk registers, budgets, MOMs, and project closure reports . Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management review . Ensure proper project documentation and record management </p><p>. <br />Required Skills &amp; Experti se Experience i n 220k V &amp; 400k V Substation and Switchyard Projec t s. Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and EPC project lifecycl e. Expertise in project planning and scheduling (L1, L2, L3 &amp; L4 ). Experience in budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and resource plannin g. Knowledge of risk management and project control s. Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skill s. Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Offic e. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from Head Offic </p><p> e. <br />Preferred Indus try Power Transmission &amp; Distribut ion EPC Compan ies Power Infrastruct ure Electrical Utilit </p><p> ies <br />Core Competenc ies: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all lev els. Proficiency in project management tools/software and MS Office applicati ons. Certification in relevant areas such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) is desira ble. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (sol </p><p> ar). <br />Qualification &amp; Other Requirem ents: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in project management preferably in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects within the power and renewable energy se ctor. In-depth knowledge of systems, equipment, codes, standards, and best pract ices.
